so i get to go to england. well... i need a passport. guess where they process them. new orleans. guess what's wrong with that. mmhmm. stupid katrina and her hurricane freaking flooded it. so my mom has to figure out where they are going to re-route it, and it will take a few days. crap!
i am so glad to be back. this week was amazing. new york is amazing...and dirty...and it smells. we visited all five boroughs: brooklyn, queens, statin island, manhatten, and the bronx. i took pictures all week. i only had 7 outta 160 pictures left. i am in the process of uploading them on to my flickr account. i can't upload all of them because i have a certain amount of space... actually... i think i will open another account... uploading takes a while... well... here they are:

i am really glad traci came with us. she's the coolest "middle schooler" ever. i put those in quotes because she's about to star ninth grade at centennial. how great it will be to have some one who goes to church with me go to my school also? it's so great.
i have formed so many bonds this past week, that i really didn't want to go home (but i did because i needed fresh air). i hate new york air.
we were going to get mitch some sand at the beach this morning, but amy-jo said we weren't going. libby, paige, and i were extremely dissapointed. :( sorry mitch.
so my life has been the grandest it's ever been. today painting the school was a blast. i am getting used to all of the walking. i really need to get back in shape. i don't know if i will do raiders next year... i'm really not good at it. bleh... i miss kara and ashley. tonight we went to the brooklyn tabernacle prayer experience. it was different. i liked it. it was a little akward though. we had free starbucks because amy-jo payed for it.
today we had the best conversations. we talked about how amy-jo and darrel met and how he proposed. the events leadingup to the proposal are hilarious. we talked about thte boys in our youth group and the ones we liked. i promised not to tell...BUT...amy-jo likes darrel. just thought i'd let you know. :) even the boy i like. so now it's this group, kara, and ashley who know who i like. mmhmm.

today was AWESOME. it was freaking GREAT. here is where we went:

took a ferry to statin island just to turn around and come back to the city
we saw a statue that was originally at the twin towers. it's great. i post the picture when i get back. and the story too...
walked the brooklyn bridge, and i yelled off of it just to be very newsie like. yay.

ate dinner maxines and had some amazing cheesecake. i have a half eaten picture of that too.
i am still in the search for a satchel though... not the dog from get fuzzy either....
so i am in new york right now in the hostel. today has been amazing. woke up early (4:30 in the am) and went to the airport. that's a story i will save for the end.
i sat next to amy-jo on the air plane and that was buckets of fun. BUCKETS. we had to wait a really long time because our tickets were messed up. we finally got here and had some trouble with the buses. that was great. i thought i was going to die on that little trip. it was frightfully scary. then, we got to the hostel and saw suze Q. that was a fun little reuinon. then, we went shopping. so many places. it was great. we went to cinatown and soho. that was great, but it smelled like CRAP. here's a list of the things i got:
